The complexities of life is always something that fascinates me,
there is just so many people and so many different experiences, different stories, and so many different emotions, a few that we can easily detect, some visible through the eyes and facial expressions if one looks close enough and the rest perfectly hidden for the walls of our rooms only.
Its fascinating honestly,
Scroll through your Instagram, or any of your social media accounts and just see how much difference there is, how different lives are being lived.
You see a post on death, a post of a woman who alhamdulilah received the blessing of motherhood, you see funny memes, you see those instagram pictures of your friends or followers.
You just scroll through different emotions, different vibes and you are just absorbing,
feeding of the different energies unconsciously, and really thats why social media breaks are needed for your own mental stability. * lol okay I am going off topic *
Anyway
The other day I saw this little girl on an igtv video, she is a little beautiful Yemeni girl,
who deserves the world, who deserves to be treated like a princess but instead she was forced to grow up by wars and the horrors life has shown her.
But you know what was so beautiful about the whole situation,
Her happiness and gratitude of the little life was offering her
it almost broke me into tears, her happiness and contentment of her life regardless of her situation taught me something that night.
Her name is Muna and she was doing a little diary documentary of her family and friends, what she does in a day and the little prevention measures they are taking in this pandemic whilst living in refuge camps.
You could see how happy she was showing her home,
how that bubbly child-like happiness was radiating as she gives a tour of the refuge camp they live in,
and truly in these moments we learn how invaluable the materialistic things in life are.
We get to live in beautiful homes during this pandemic that would be considered mansions in her eyes,
most of us didn't get our childhood snatched from us, we didn't have to run away from home,
never knew how it felt to not have a stable home or have to worry about the next meal.
Growing up we got to be daddys little princess or mommas little king,
with not much or any life crises to worry about,
yet we give little gratitude to Allah and our family.
SubhanAllah, so many people right now, would give the world to get the happiness that little girl radiates,
wallah I was so happy and amazed by her strength,
her happiness and gratitude to life was just beautiful.
If you can take anything from todays post is that
being grateful is a choice, being patience is also a choice
even in times of the hardest moments.
Granted sometimes things can be tough, but we choose how we react to situations.
Be grateful for even the little moments, the people around you and the little things life offers,
Be patience in tough times, and have complete trust in Allah SWT,
For with every hardship comes ease.
So you are here !
We are here
So lets make use of our moment,
be rational with our actions, take care of yourself
stay happy, grateful and patient.
xx
Day20
I soo missed this ❤️‼️keep thriving
Indeed ya habibty! How seldom we are grateful for the enormous favors we are granted. The world isn't a bed of roses as some of us view it. Thus, balance is what we need between deen and dunya. Alahuma bariq Aalaiki😍
